Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» University Continuing to Monitor Hurricane Isaias
Dear Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Community,
We continue to closely monitor Hurricane Isaias as it moves northeast in the Gulf. The storm's track has not changed significantly, and it is still expected to make landfall east of Louisiana, almost 200 miles away later tonight or early tomorrow morning.
All university campuses remain open, and we do not anticipate any changes to normal operations today, including dining services and regular dining hours.
The forecast for our area remains consistent: limited rain and gusty winds beginning this afternoon and lasting until early tomorrow morning.
Outdoor events scheduled for this evening and tomorrow should continue to follow guidance from event organizers, as some activities may be moved or rescheduled depending on weather conditions.
For information on storm preparations, please visit . Information regarding university operations and emergency notifications will also be posted at tulane.edu/emergency.
We will email the next update tomorrow after the storm passes.
Stay safe,
Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Office of Emergency Preparedness & Response
