Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» University Continuing to Monitor Hurricane Isaias
Dear Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Community,
We continue to closely monitor Hurricane Isaias as it moves northeast in the Gulf. The storm's track has not changed significantly, and it is still expected to make landfall east of Louisiana, somewhere between Biloxi, MS, and Pensacola, FL, about 100 to 200 miles east of New Orleans, between late Friday night and early Saturday morning.
All university campuses remain open. We do not anticipate any changes to normal operations this week. Outdoor events scheduled for Friday and Saturday may be moved or rescheduled. Please confirm with event organizers.
The forecast for our area remains consistent: rain and gusty winds beginning Friday afternoon and lasting until early Saturday morning. The total rainfall is projected to be less than 2".
